Customer Service is very important to us, that's why we believe in providing you with the best possible technical support. We aim to respond to all support e-mails within 24 hours. Not simply an automated email saying that you are in a queue, but a real reply from a real person who wants to help you.

We also greatly value feedback from our customers as well, so if you have suggestions, please e-mail them to us. We try to implement as many customer enhancements as we can, so we can continually improve the product.

TRM Recipes

TheRecipeManager is now available for iPhone and iPod touch. If you have any questions about the new TRM Recipes iApp then please e-mail us at: support@TheRecipeManager.com.

Running Version 3 on Windows Vista or Windows 7

We have had some problems with permission issues on Windows Vista and Windows 7 that we have now taken care of in an update.

If you have an earlier version 3 release then you will need to download the latest 3.2 release from: Download Version 3.2

Help and FAQs

TheRecipeManager includes a built-in Help system which can be launched by selecting TheRecipeManager Help from the Help menu. You can also load them here from OS X Help system and Windows FAQ Help. You can also read many frequently asked questions about TheRecipeManager FAQ's. If the answer is not there, then please contact us.

Email Support
You can email our Support team: support@TheRecipeManager.com with your problems and feature requests. Please include your Name, Serial Number, Operating System, and TRM version, along with a description of the problem. Someone will respond to you within 24 hours. Alternatively, you can fill out this form.

Upgrading to version 3 from 1.x or 2.x
You can upgrade to the latest release from version 1.x or 2.x for just $15.00.

NOTE: Before upgrading please check the minimum system requirements listed at the bottom of this page.

To purchase an upgrade from v1.x or 2.x on the buy page, simply enter a '1' in the Quantity field for TheRecipeManager and click on the 'continue' button. On the next page that appears you will see a 'Coupon/ Promotional Code' field - if you enter a valid registration code (remember to include the dashes) from version 1 or 2 you will automatically receive the upgrade price of $15 - your discounted price will be displayed on the checkout page. If you do not enter a valid code or that code has already been upgraded or simply cannot be located in the Kagi database, you can purchase v3 at full price, or, if you believe you should be receiving the upgrade price, cancel your order and send an email to support@TheRecipeManager.com so we can work out whatever the issue is.

Coupon codes are valid only for TheRecipeManager, not for the Friends and Family packs.

Updating from 3.x to 3.2
If you have version 3.0 you can now upgrade to the new 3.w update. The new update is Universal on Mac running on 10.5 or higher and runs on Windows Vista and Windows 7. TheRecipeManager. 3.2 also incorporates a new lifestyle tracking feature which enables you to track your weight, blood pressure, blood sugar, exercise performed and food intake. You can then use this information to create graphs so you can watch trends over a period of time. Download the new update here.

Updating from 2.x to 2.2
If you have version 2.0 or 2.1 you can now upgrade to the latest 2.2 update. The update is Universal on Mac and runs on WIndows XP and Windows Vista. Download the 2.2 update here.

System Requirements

Mac Requirements
G5 or higher with 2GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.5 or higher, CD-ROM drive and 150MB free hard disk space. Minimum monitor resolution of 1024 x 768. Internet access required to obtain updates and upgrades and view the Help system. DO NOT purchase version 3 if you are running any version of OS X less than 10.5.

Windows Requirements
Pentium with 1GB RAM minimum (2GB RAM recommended), Windows Vista or Windows 7, CD-ROM drive and 150MB free hard disk space. Minimum monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 (96DPI). Internet access required to obtain updates and upgrades and view the Help system.

An iPod® that supports Notes is required to export Shopping Lists to an iPod® (currently not iPhone or iPod touch).
